A Shropshire director has spoken at a high profile summit in London about revitalising private healthcare for the 21st century. Digital marketing expert Helen Culshaw, who runs Shropshire-based Ascendancy, was asked to speak at the Private Healthcare Summit 2016 at the King’s Fund in London.
The summit was attended by over 160 key figures from the healthcare industry. Helen’s talk was on the topic ‘Google…Friend or Foe?’, and she addressed the audience’s worries about working with Google.
She said: “This question is often one that I am asked to speak about as many businesses and organisations, across a variety of sectors, are working with Google and often ask themselves that very question. “The answer I give is that, love them or loathe them, Google is a necessary (evil?) and through AdWords advertising, businesses can learn to love Google if they are able to generate a strong return on investment from their advertising.”
Helen is an expert in her field and, as a visiting lecturer at Birkbeck College in London, talks regularly on what the future holds for digital marketing. Her company is a Google Partner, meaning her staff take regular AdWords exams, the company is running accounts which spend a minimum of 10,000 dollars or equivalent over a rolling 90-day period and they meet Google high standards of best practice and customer service.
Sarah Ward, head of operations at Intuition Communication – organisers of the Private Healthcare Summit – said they were extremely pleased to secure Helen as a speaker due to her expertise in the area. She said: “We have a very long working relationship with Helen, gained through online projects for Intuition’s own web sites and Intuition client sites.
“Her company Ascendancy is constantly updating their knowledge of the Google AdWords system, and keep clients informed of new developments that may affect campaigns or help to develop them further. The campaigns we have run together have been successful, and client feedback is excellent.
“Helen’s knowledge and understanding of the private healthcare sector, and her flexible approach makes her our number one choice when we require an expert opinion on digital marketing, and Google Adwords in particular.”
Other presentations at the conference covered opportunities, challenges, ideas and solutions for the private healthcare industry. Helen is available for speaking opportunities and can be contacted at helen@ascendancy.agency or on (01952) 462845 to discuss such opportunities.
