- Tea or coffee?
Always coffee in the mornings, then tea in the day.
- What is your favourite meal?
You can never go wrong with an Italian… until you have to pick whether you want pizza or pasta. But Italian is probably my favourite.
- If you could be an animal, what would you be?
I would like to be some sort of big cat, preferably a lioness or a leopard!
- Do you prefer dogs or cats?
I love both, I have always had a house full of pets! Cats are more low maintenance and can pretty much survive on their own, but dogs are much more friendly, so it’s a tough decision.
- Who would play you in a movie?
My instincts say Johnny Depp… in drag.
- Tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
I’ve always enjoyed painting since I can remember. I took A-level and GCSE art and secretly want to be the next Vincent Van Gogh when I retire, although maybe without cutting off my own ear.
- Any funny anecdotes you would like to share?
I watched a swan sneeze once, and the ‘sneeze’ went right into my eye. I definitely did not say ‘bless you’. I also developed a fear of big birds since that day.
- Why do you like working for Ascendancy?
I love how friendly and supportive the team are, and especially how helpful everyone has been since day one! I have never felt pressured to complete a task or learn a new skill if I didn’t understand it, so it has been a very enjoyable learning experience.
- What is your favourite part of your job?
I love any creative task I can get my hands on. Whether it’s images, videos, social media posts or landing pages, despite my love-hate relationship with design platforms, especially Canva.
- Any secret talents?
I am bilingual in Russian and English! I love to make it my main personality trait.
- What is your favourite thing about Shropshire?
My favourite thing about Shropshire is how peaceful and quiet it is here, certainly different to London. I also love how there are so many gyms in the local area as I enjoy fitness. And of course, the tractors that casually drive through the highstreet!
