Enter a hashtag that you think matches the content of your post and look at the number of people that are also using it. You’ll also see a list of similar hashtags that people are also using. This not only helps you find new hashtags but also tells you if the ones you want to use are relevant. It’s also a good idea to take a look at the posts that are using them to make sure they’re relevant to yours.
Check Out Your Competition
If you know similar businesses are using Instagram, take a look at their page and see what hashtags they’re using. You don’t want to copy them exactly but it could give you some inspiration or help you discover an untapped audience.
Look at What Your Audience Is Already Using
Already have a following? Great! If your followers are using a hashtag then people with similar interests probably are too. Keep an eye on your most engaged followers and see what hashtags they use the most.
