Meet a member of our fantastic Web Development team, Karen:
- Tea or coffee?
Coffee in the morning and tea in the afternoon.
- What is your favourite meal?
I don’t really have a favourite but I love cooking all kinds of stuff. The easier it is to make the better really.
- If you could be an animal, what would you be?
Maybe a sloth, they look pretty chilled.
- Do you prefer dogs or cats?
Cats, as they can take care of themselves.
- Who would play you in a movie?
I have absolutely no idea.
- Tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
I love gardening and have had an allotment for 13 years now.
- Any funny anecdotes you would like to share?
I own a unicycle but can’t ride it. Every few years I get it out and have another go but I’m just not cut out to be a clown.
- Why do you like working for Ascendancy?
The team are lovely and all get on so well.
- What is your favourite part of your job?
When you get to work on websites for different customers, you get to learn about lots of different types of businesses and they all have different technical problems they want to solve.
- Any secret talents?
I can figure skate.
- What is your favourite thing about Shropshire?
Beautiful scenery and I need to explore more of it!
