- Tea or coffee?
Coffee, with bonus points for decorative latte art. It might not add to the flavour, but it almost justifies the expense.
- What is your favourite meal?
Any spinach based curry like a Saag or Pardesi. The Peshwari Naan is the dealbreaker though. Having been schooled on the ‘Chipati slap’ at a recent Ascendancy social, I have a new appreciation for this culinary skill.
- If you could be an animal, what would you be?
A bear. Free to do what they like… and nobody messes with a grizzly.
- Do you prefer dogs or cats?
Dogs. I’m yet to meet a cat that likes me, and vice versa.
- Who would play you in a movie?
Any action hero that saves the day. Nothing supernatural or based on fantasy though; it has to be entirely believable and realistic… like Liam Neeson in “Taken”, or Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible.
- Tell us an interesting fact about yourself?
I have a World Championship medal in cycling, but my sister has enough to fill a room with.
- Any funny anecdotes you would like to share?
About the office? Jay once gave an uber eats delivery scooter an outrageous tip. I enjoy his delivery of that story.
- Why do you like working for Ascendancy?
The variety. I’ve been here 9 months, and every day offers something different. Madeline has worn a unique outfit combination for 9 weeks in a row.
- What is your favourite part of your job?
Starting every day with 100 tokens for asking Jay a question, and seeing how many days I finish with any spare.
- Any secret talents?
I can talk in six different languages… whilst juggling knives… in the dark. Just kidding. That’s a no. If I had a talent that good, it wouldn’t be a secret.
- What is your favourite thing about Shropshire?
The lanes. I love to commute by bike, and the traffic flow in Shropshire is certainly different to Glasgow.
