Watts Group employs over 200 people in the UK. The groups diverse activities include a network of commercial vehicle dealer locations in South Wales, two manufacturing businesses producing polyurethane and thermoplastic sheet, and a property business.
The group wanted a modern website but also have a nod to it’s long heritage as a company. The main focus of the site is to list the groups different companies and link them all together for visitors to easily read about and visit each of the individual sites. The group had some videos made to visually show and talk about the group as a whole and the individual companies that formed it, it was therefore important to make these videos stand out on the various pages, which we did by placing them in prominent positions on the page that would stand out to the user.
Apart from just advertising the individual companies Watts Group also wanted to advertise their properties that are available to purchase and rent on the site. We made it possible for them to simply list the properties available and add description.
The website since been launched has helped the group with having a better online presence about them as a whole and another space for people to come to read more about them and the companies within that may not have been obvious to visitors before. The site shows that although Watts Group is a group of companies in different areas that their core still remains today as it did over 150 year ago.
“Working with Ascendancy and Jon was a very positive experience – the right blend of expertise, creativity and professional service. Would definitely recommend.”
