A Shropshire firm has marked its 21st anniversary with a new website for customers across the world.
Nexus Collections, based in Church Stretton, first opened its doors in 1995 and has been working with clients in Shropshire and beyond ever since.
The company supplies branded conference and promotional material to event organisers and businesses and this month launched a brand new website, designed by Shifnal-based Ascendancy, to showcase its products.
Gill Jones, of Nexus Collections, said the website is now of huge importance to them as they work with clients across the world.
She said: “When we started 21 years ago the website was not a selling tool at all so we spent our time doing lots of exhibitions and samples and gained a large and loyal customer base.
“Over time the website has become increasingly more important in attracting new customers and now most of our newer customers are coming through the website.
“Because we change our products quite regularly to match the trend of our market we need a website that fitted the client’s needs but also our own and the new website does just that.”
The new site www.nexuscollections.com allows event organisers to lift off product photographs and send them on to clients and sponsors as they require them.
“We wanted a site that we could change ourselves so that we can quickly and easily change products or information and keep clients up to date, Ascendancy managed to do that and we are extremely pleased with the site,” added Mrs Jones.
Helen Culshaw, of Ascendancy, said a lot of companies are looking closely at their online presence as they see their target market widen.
“The beauty of the internet is that it allows companies to market their products and services across the world at the same time as targeting their local market.
“The creation of a website to meet the needs of that target market, and the company it bears the name of, is integral to the future growth of organisations.”
