The owner of a vintage photobooth hire business has seen bookings for parties and weddings almost quadruple since launching a new website. And with summer on its way Vicki Owen, who set up Love Your Photos in 2014, is braced for a flurry of online enquiries as people set about planning their summertime celebrations.
Vicki, from Newtown, established the business after buying a neglected caravan and transforming it into a vintage style travelling photobooth and earlier this year launched the website with the help of Helen Culshaw and her team from Ascendancy in Shifnal.
Affectionately named Martha, painted in pastel coloured paints, the photobooth is available to hire for weddings, parties and other special occasions. Vicki said: “The business has been operational since summer last year but it was not until early 2015 when we launched the website that bookings really started to take off.
“Martha now spends most of her weekends at parties and weddings which is great.
“We’re so grateful for the expertise of Helen Culshaw and her team who designed the website. The investment has certainly paid off.
“We didn’t really know where to start when it came to putting together a site but Helen was great to work with and designed a super looking website that really reflected the retro style of Martha and the business.
“Lots of people have commented on how much they love the site because it is really fun and colourful and that’s what Martha is all about.
“For our customers it is a simple, easy to use site and as a result we have seen bookings quadruple since launching last September, which is just fantastic.
“With summer on its way we are also starting to see a lot more enquiries come in over the website as people start planning their summer celebrations.
“We think it’s going to be a busy few months for Martha.”
